 The index values for each of the indicators would range between 0 and 1- 0 indicating the lowest ranking for the GP and 1
indicating highest ranking of the GP

would allow the ranking of GPs for the theme

 The cumulative index is the summation of the consolidated index values of all nine themes and this is to be used to assign the
ranks for the GPs within the specified group.

Method of Estimating LSDGI
For the estimation of the LSDGI at GP level, the following steps may be followed:
1. As a first step, a minimum and maximum value has to be set for each of the indicators to transform them into indices lying
between zero and one. For those indicators expressed in percentages, the minimum value will be zero and the maximum value

will be 100.

3. Compute theme-wise indices by using the UNDP methodology. Geometric mean is used and the method of calculation is as
below.

4. To compute LSDGI, aggregate the Thematic indices using geometric mean with the following formula.
LSDGI= (TI1× TI2 × ….. TI9)(1/9). where TIl is the Thematic index for the first theme and TI9 is the Thematic index for the
ninth Theme.

The Government of Tripura action towards implementation of localisation of SDGs, identified the gaps at local level and came out
