Office Memorandums on Committee Formation

The Ministry of Panchayati Raj, Government of India, in keeping with the commitments to achieve SDGs for
the country, and the 73rd amendment to the Constitution, has been by policy and programme strengthening the
local self-government. Further to the Localization of Sustainable Development Goals through the 9 Themes

with the PRIs, various aspects of measurement of the progress made, baseline, targets achieved, etc. in GPs
using a Local Indicator Framework, was sought to be evolved for use across the country. Towards this, the

MoPR constituted a Committee tasked to submit its Report for measuring the progress, including evolving the
