Joint Advisories on 9 Themes

9 Joint Advisories (JAs) issued by the Government of India to the States/UTs, each Advisory covering 1 Theme, reflects
the commitment and joint action of the concerned Ministries/Departments in achieving specific Sustainable
Development Goals (SDGs) under each theme. India being a signatory to United Nations 2030 Agenda for achieving 17

SDGs, the Joint Advisories delineates strategic roadmap for convergent actions leaving no one behind through whole of
government and whole of society approach to attain SDG goals at local level.

The Joint Advisories were issued in April 2022 on each of the Themes listed below.
